FAQs

How is your jewelry produced?
All DGFJ products are made by hand in Brooklyn, New York starting from 100% recycled precious metal stock.
How long will it take for my jewelry to ship?
All of our pieces are made by hand, and most pieces are made once you order. We are usually able to make and ship pieces within one to two business days. If your order is time sensitive, contact us before ordering to ensure it is made and shipped on time. Our Cyber Monday orders are guaranteed to be received prior to Christmas.
What shipping options are available?
Domestic orders are shipped with USPS, which can take up to 5 business days to deliver. International orders can be shipped with UPS Worldwide service or USPS Priority Mail. International orders may incur VAT or customs fees; these are the sole responsibility of the customer. For more information about your country's policies on imports, please visit your country's customs website.
What is your online return policy?
Online orders are eligible for return for a full refund if the piece is returned to us within 14 days of being delivered.  More information can be found on our Returns and Repairs page. Please note that special orders and items purchased with a discount are final sale and not eligible for a refund. Rings can be resized once free of cost, but certain styles can be tricky to resize, so please contact us to find out what the resizing options are for your piece.
What makes Drew Gregory Fine Jewelry responsible?
Drew Gregory Fine Jewelry was founded in celebration of the natural world around us and beyond.  For that reason, we hold a strong commitment to both environmental and social responsibility.  Gems and diamonds are sourced from reputable dealers, often in person at industry gem shows, and we never use material from conflict areas.  Our metals are refined from 100% recycled material to reduce the impact of precious metal mining on the world.  DGFJ also supports social justice and human rights through charitable donations, auctions, and raffles.
What type of metal is used in your jewelry?
Our jewelry uses 100% recycled sterling silver and karat gold. The metal is specified in each product description.  We can also work in platinum for custom orders.
Why do the stones on my piece look different than those on the website?
Drew Gregory Fine Jewelry uses natural stones.  These minerals have been formed in the earth in non-pristine conditions.  Due to the natural inclusions and differences that affect all mined stones, the piece you receive may differ slightly from the photograph on our website.  However, we do our best to select stones that are consistent and identical as possible to what you order.
Do you make custom engagement rings?
Funny you should ask...we do. Please contact us to learn more about our custom design process.
Can you make jewelry with a diamond or stone I own?
Customer owned stones require a case-by-case assessment.  A fragile gemstone or a gem with pre-existing damage can pose great challenge when being used in a new piece of jewelry and will require a damage waiver to be signed by the customer before we can accept it to enter our studio.  That being said, we have experience working with many types of gems and would be happy to discuss the potential or giving your gem a new life.  Please get in touch if you have a custom design request.
Can I get a different size ring if mine doesn't fit?
We are able to resize most DGFJ rings, depending on the design and gems used.  And your first ring resizing is free!  Please review our Returns and Repairs page for more information.
I lost my earring. Can I order another?
Yes, please follow our repairs policy detailed on our Returns and Repairs page. Our ability to make a match is dependent on availability of materials. We do not guarantee that materials will be available with any designs, especially limited and one of a kind designs. We will try our best to make a match for you.
